About This Blog

I adore dogs. They are funny & silly creatures who also happens to be smart, loyal and loving. I own four of them. (Or they own me… I’m not so sure anymore.)

I’m addicted to coffee. That is my only poison and I am not willing to give it up. On an occasional day I drink 3 to 4 cups. Yum!

And I LOVE books… (yes- that would be a capital LOVE) And I don’t just mean reading them; I love talking about them, thinking about them and to my friends’ annoyance- occasionally quoting them through casual conversations.

But as a book-worm there aren’t many places where you can go and talk all you like about books, authors and stories. The internet therefore, is the perfect place to do just that.

I mostly (but not exclusively) read literary fiction so it’s only natural that I’ll be reviewing just that here on my blog. I read both classics & recently published books so I doubt that my reviews will follow any conventional order. Some weeks I’ll be reviewing Tolstoy or Austen and some weeks I’ll be reviewing what you see on your “new realises” shelf at your local bookstore. Every now and then I might throw in some music which I believe will enhance the joy of reading that particular book (expect a lot of folk & blues).

I’ll be starting my PhD next year on American Literature therefore you’ll be seeing a lot reviews of books which are written by American authors.

Also- I am not a native English speaker so if I make any mistakes (which I’m sure I will) just bare with me.

Comments & Suggestions are very welcome- even if you’re just dropping by to say Hey!

Oh great! Another non-native English speaking blogger who’ll make grammar mistakes like me. 🙂 (hopefully, you’ll make less mistakes than me…)
